Great choice for trip. Clean place with mountain views and wonderful and welcoming staff. Location near Olsio train station, banks of lake Como, and the shores. Plus, 15 minutes drive from Monument to Carlo Guzzi.

The superior king room had an extremely comfy bed, central heating, a work desk, and a TV set. the location is very close to Varenna and the ferries across the lake and the surrounding areas.

Olcio is not a great village, the street next to the b&b is very busy.

Had a lovely dinner at a great restaurant, the place was tidy everywhere. 🍽️ Couldn't complain about the cleanliness!

Maria and her husband were wonderful! Maria cooks most of her breakfast food and you eat in a cozy dining room within her kitchen. The rooms are very clean. The location is right across the street from the Como Lake which gave me a great view of the lake through my window.

The biggest issue I had that my room faced the street. The road can be somewhat noisy with the windows open during the day and the traffic does die down after 7pm. You may want to get a room away from the street if you are light sleeper. Please remember to bring cash only...no credit cards will be accepted. Beside that I really enjoyed my stay!

Every detail was great. My excellent stay began with staff who assisted with logistics. - I found the hotel's location great and gorgeous, near the ferries across the lake as well as banks of Lake Como. The couple that own Frontelago were brilliant, they helped us with everything: train times, tourist brochures, washing, directions etc... We even were given a camera cable as ours was chewed too death by our dog! The place was very relaxing and clean, and the furniturevin the room was more like a 5 star hotel! It was one of the best holidays ever. We loved the view from the balcony, and the little beach where we could have a swim! loved the place! Thanks Maria and Pietro! xx

The room was slightly too hot at night, maybe a little fan in the room would be a good idea?

Excelent place and very nice and helpful couple was dealing this b&b, located just in front the lake. We stayed in the apartment at the attic stage, with amazing lake views, kitchen, rest room, etc. One of the best surprises was the breakfast, with the table full of typical products, all of them served just once sited. We have found a perfect b&B. A place to come back for sure!!

The rooms here are one-of-a-kind and super cozy. They come with a terrace, some sweets, and all the usual stuff you'd need. 🍬 the location is absolutely gorgeous and charming, plus it's conveniently close to a train station.

The view of Lake Como out our windows was spectacular, and the lovely patio area facing onto the lake was restful. We worried a bit about road noise as it was directly on the road, but it was very quiet. Steep stairs to the top floor where we stayed, but our hosts carried our bags up, so we had no complaints - the view and room were worth the climb. The hosts were friendly and helpful with information about the area and things in which we had interest. In spite of their limited English and our very slim Italian we enjoyed them. Breakfast was plentiful and good. We were mother, daugher, and cousin - ages 47 to 70 - traveling Europe for 3 weeks. Recommend this b & b highly.
